On behalf of the Bunyoro-Kitara Development Association UK(BKDA), a member of Bunyoro-Kitara International, we are pleased to welcome you to the 2nd Bi-Annual Bunyoro-Kitara International Convention. The convention will be held on June 27 to 30, 2025 at the DoubleTree by Hilton London – Ealing in the heart of London the Capital of World.

2025 Bunyoro-Kitara International Convention Chairs
Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom has been known to exist since the 9th century, making it the oldest Kingdom in Uganda and East Africa, at its greatest height it occupied present areas of Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Eastern DRC and Northern Tanzania.
The Bunyoro Kitara International Convention – 2025 is a special convention. With a line-up of key speakers including representatives from The Republic of Uganda and the Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom. The themes for this convention have been selectively designed to include:-
Education – Empowering the next generation by promoting a better understanding of The Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom by teaching and learning more about Bunyoro.
Culture and Art – celebrating our culture together, teaching and learning more about Bunyoros’ rich culture, and history. See the program for an exciting field trip!
History and legacy to encourage inclusive relationships between people of different ethnicities, cultures, and beliefs, thus fostering social integration.
Health-promoting healthier lifestyles, and work and life balance to identity is a good ingredient for self-esteem and resilience.
About the host of this years event
Bunyoro Kitara Development Association (BKDA) a registered charity organisation (number1059531) is proud to present the long-awaited International convention scheduled for 27 – 30 June 2025!
BKDA aims & objectives:-
(a) To provide for the relief of poverty among people of Bunyoro descent living in the United Kingdom but not exclusively, by providing advice, information, assistance and support in the areas of welfare, housing, health, education and immigration.
(b) To advance the education of people of Bunyoro descent in particular, but not exclusively, living in the UK by the provision of English and mother tongue classes and cultural awareness sessions.
(c) To provide relief aid to poverty-stricken communities in the third world and in particular the region of Bunyoro Kitara.
